Solar Electricity for Schools & Villages

Sol Partners, through its subsidiary Mandalay Yoma Energy, has worked with the World Bank to develop more than 30 micro-grids across eight regions in Myanmar. These micro-grids provide electricity to remote areas, enabling power for schools, street lights, and houses. As a result, training groups and NGOs can use computers and projectors, and late evening tuition is now possible. This has brought significant improvements to the quality of life and economic opportunities in these regions.
